Sony-head jumps to Snapchat – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

A high-ranking Sony head, Michael Lynton, leaves his ceo-mission in early February to become the engineering company of the Snap Incs new chairman of the board. Michael Lynton stops, however, in Sony Entertainment in a further six months to help the new ceo to be warm. Lynton was an early investor in Snap Inc, and has served on the board for almost four years.

Snap Inc owns the messaging service Snapchat, which has become popular due to the users can set how long a message can be seen by the recipient.

Sony Entertainment produces films and tv series. The company is among other things behind the dramafilmen "The Social Network," if Facebookgrundaren Mark Zuckerberg, and the acclaimed tv series "Breaking Bad".
