It is 8 200 cars worldwide that Volvo call back. This after a failure in an airbag from Autoliv in Vårgårda.
” In our own quality testing, it has been shown that the trigger is not triggered. This happens in extremely rare cases and it has never happened there in real life. This we have discovered during the test and we want it to be corrected, ” says Tomas Jonsson, press officer at Autoliv in Vårgårda.
the Reason for the recall is a problem when the air bag deploys. The car models affected by the problem include the Volvo V40, V60, S90, XC90, and the V90.
– When an error occurs, we want to be quick and make sure it gets fixed.
