Young people more positive to the labour market – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

as the youth unemployment rate reduces the growing optimism among young people in the labour market. Nine out of ten believe that a solid job is important, and eight out of ten believe that they will have a fixed job about ten years. One per cent think that they will be unemployed, according to a survey, analysis and consulting firm Insight Intelligence has done.

Four out of ten feel a sense of security in the labour market, compared with three in ten the year before. Employees with high education feel most secure. The majority want to work in Sweden.

More think that it is easy to get a job and the proportion who believe that it is difficult to have dropped by 21 percentage points to 37 per cent.

55 percent believe that it they are working on match their education. The proportion looking for work via the employment service has been reduced.

a Thousand swedes between the ages of 16 to 30 years participated in the survey for the third year in a row.
