Grenade found at the shores of lake Vättern – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

A grenade was found Sunday by a person who was out walking at the shores of lake Vättern in Nykyrka north of Motala, sweden, writes Corren.

Police could not determine whether the 50-centimeter-long, the grenade was skarpladdad so bombgruppen in Stockholm was there.

— It was hearty and rusty. It didn’t look like a modern grenade, ” says Tor Sevelius, the duty officer at the Eastern region told the newspaper.
