sale will generate a loss of approximately EUR 30 million, which will be reported as an extraordinary item in the results for the fourth quarter of 2014, the company said in a press release.
Uetersen mill produces specialty paper and coated fine paper and employs about 400 people. Stora Enso will continue with the specialty paper production at Imatra Mills and fine paper at Oulu Mill in Finland.
The mill was planned only be sold to Austrian Brigl & amp; Bergmeister but the deal was thwarted since the German competition authority said no.
