The government has decided to extend the premium for the so-called super clean cars.
The premium, which is 40 000, to be paid to the person who buys a car with very low emissions.
Now the government has decided on a EUR 215 million for 2015 which can also be used retroactively for 2014.
Transport Agency manages the payment of premiums.
The limit of 5000 cars previously was reached in August.
“We will immediately start the process of submitting files. We have a couple of month lag to work in but hopefully we will be in phase in the spring, “says Eva Lexon, head of tax and fee department at the Swedish Transport Agency, in a press release.
