Economy The Swedish furniture chain Ikea in Russia will stop sales of kitchen furniture and equipment, Reuters reported citing a statement from Ikea.
The shutdown is temporary and is related to Ikea can not meet a surge in demand in the wake of the Russian currency crisis.
“The sale of kitchen furniture and equipment will be resumed starting Saturday 20 December, “writes Ikea according to Reuters.
On Wednesday, IKEA announced that it plans price increases of kitchen furniture and equipment, despite having previously said it would not happen.
