Norwegian oil fund does BP

The Norwegian oil fund is true oil company BP and demands compensation for losses the fund suffered after the accident on the oil rig Deepwater Horizon in April 2010, writes Dagbladet.no.
Oil Fund owned a large number of shares in BP and after the disaster dropped these shares 8.3 billion Norwegian kroner in value.
The lawsuit was filed in Texas along with European and American investors, but the oil fund would not provide for Dagbladet how large the claim is.
We believe that BP has misinformed about some conditions surrounding the security of their deepwater operations, said Thomas Sevang, communications manager for the Oil Fund, or the Government Pension Fund abroad which is the formal name.
