Arms exports: Many billions at stake – Västerbotten Courier

If the arms industry will not export to severe dictatorships goes missing out on deals worth 36 billion over ten years according to a report.

The investigation to propose stricter rules for exports is also severely delayed, the newspaper reported outside world in a newsletter.

According to the calculation from defense research firm IHS / Jane would export to a value of 36 billion absent during a decade of the most authoritarian rule states such as Saudi Arabia, Myanmar and Yemen fell away. About half dictatorships / flawed democracies like Colombia, Thailand and Iraq taken with Sweden will lose over 104 billion over ten years according to the calculation.
