Löfven: "The Alliance tried to take over power" – Business Week

Despite the historic agreement is fierce criticism from both sides. Stefan Löfven believe that the Alliance was long uninterested in a deal and most wanted to take power.

The Alliance leader claimed yesterday that the Social Democrats could have made up about the rules of minority rule already December 2, no need to threaten early election. Prime Minister Stefan Löfven argue, however, that it was just the opposite, arguing that the Alliance actually tried Kuppa and take over power.

In an interview with the Daily News now provides Löfven his version of what happened at the informal meetings prior to the budget vote.

“That night said the bourgeois that I had three different options. One was to take their budget, because it was so good. Option two was to resign. Three to declare optional. Discussion to close the vote was never up there, “said Prime Minister Stefan Löfven to the Daily News.

The leaves also says that the nonsocialists criticism that election decision was premature is wrong, and says that the Alliance itself answered no to the question of there was nothing, in form or in substance, that they would be willing to discuss in order to avoid the situation.

If at the time of the budget vote has been ready for a showdown in the style of December agreement, they had put their voices, reason Löfven. The fact that they abstained see the Prime Minister as evidence that the Alliance basically hoped to be able to take over power.

“I think that the bourgeois had been looking forward to the President round where they got the question of they wanted to form a government, “said the Prime Minister to the Daily News.
