Next year will disappear two “free” days off and in 2016 another.

Sweden for several years optimally many red days that have been on weekdays, which normally is working for most. This holiday season is notoriously Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is followed by New Year’s weekend on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. With just a few vacation or comp days it has been possible to put together a long uninterrupted rest period.

Total, according Statistics Sweden (SCB), it is 249 days in 2014. Since it will take until 2025 before we get equally few days.

In 2015, only five bank holidays that fall on traditional working days and seven in 2014. The National Day on 6 June is a Saturday and Boxing Day is also on a Saturday. This is a total 251 days.

And 2016 will it’s worse. May Day is a Sunday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on a Saturday and a Sunday and on top of misery is 2016 leap year and leap day February 29th is a Monday. In 2016 gives the calendar entire 253 days.

One consolation is then possibly to more working days means better economy for the UK. According to state NIER corresponds to each working a change in GDP of about five billion.
