Sweden: 6732 more unemployed Week 52 – Employment Service

(SIX) The number of registered unemployed in Sweden rose by 6,732 people to 201,873 persons during week 52. In a comparison with corresponding week a year ago, the number of registered unemployed decreased by 16,684 people (-15,481 last week), as a update from the Employment Service. Job seekers in activity support programs amounted to 181,560 people, which was 654 fewer than a week earlier. Compared with A year ago, the number decreased by 10,571 persons (-11,063 last week). The number of people who found work during the week amounted to 2277, compared with 8,661 during the week before. The number of people registered as jobseekers amounted to 5964, compared with 8727 weeks before. 6442 new vacancies were reported, compared with 23,035 the week before.
