An explosion occurred at the entrance to a local police station in Farsta in southern Stockholm. The outer armor glass and the door to the entrance has been damaged.
When police arrived to investigate the site and scout in the neighborhood drove a gray car from there at full speed. The police took up the chase and managed to stop the car by driving into it.
Next, a person could be arrested on suspicion of devastation endangering the public and another person has been taken in for questioning.
– When the police had stopped the car got a police neck injury and has been taken to hospital, says Catharina Nordin, station officer at Southern Stockholm police.
Police have cordoned off the area where the explosion occurred.
– We’ve Bomb Technicians in place to ascertain what has exploded, says Catharina Nordin.
In the same building as the local police station there are a number of other activities, among other things, Swedbank an office there.
