"More like shopping there than people recognize" – Expressen

Zlatan Ibrahimovic create a company within Dressmann Group.

An exciting features, says branding expert Niklas Turner Olovzon.

On Monday could SportExpressen.se reveal that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expanding its business activities. Previously, the Swede advertised Volvo, and vitamin drink Vitamin Well, but now adds the PSG striker addition, the company Varner Ibrahimović AS to their portfolio.

The company started in cooperation with the Norwegian clothing chain Dressmann – and will feature products from sports segment.

– Their corporate culture and winning mentality matches me perfectly, that they also are a company of people made the choice of partner easy for me, commented Zlatan self cooperation.

Niklas Turner Olovzon is the founder and brand expert at the company Passion lab.

He believes that Zlatan’s commitment is part of his personal development when the career is coming to an end.

Turner Olovzon also believe that it will not necessarily be such a clear link to Dressmann once the collection is launched.

Is it like the latter case, it is not certain that it will be sold in just Dressmann stores or even on Dressmann stores. It might as well be sold in sporting goods or in other contexts he explains.



“Much like the Eurovision Song Contest”

– Then you should realize that Dressmann is a very large and successful company that also owns other chains. It is a Norwegian company that has a broad product portfolio. Then that one can associate Dressmann with discount … while it is Dressmann incredibly successful and have wider audiences than people generally believe. There are more people who shop at Dressmann than what people might recognize – much like the Eurovision Song Contest.

Being associated with a budget brand think Turner Olovzon addition rhymes well with Zlatan’s personality.

– As a footballer’s he might have a Ferrari, but Zlatan as an individual and an individual, if you ignore his cockiness, he is pretty down to earth person. He has no extravagant lifestyles that way.

– I do not think Zlatan will focus on fashion, but on the performance of products or sports. That’s where he has great credibility. He does not have the image of being a fashionista – he has not Ljungberg or Beckham’s interest.
