Some who responded to the bishop’s call is the churches in Skellefteå parish, where the church bells will sound at the scheduled time.
the Bells of St Olov’s church and Kåge church will make already in the afternoon.

the Idea is that the sound should remind you of the terrible situation that the people in Aleppo and elsewhere in Syria are experiencing right now.
” We are heartbroken and torn when we are part of the stories of how innocent people suffer. The bell-ringing is a call for us to be able to stay up in prayer for the Syrian people, says bishop Hans Stiglund in a press release.
