Melker Schörling leave their mission – Expressen

In a press release, write Schörling yourself:

“because I have for some time suffered from a gradual deterioration in health I will leave my board at the spring meetings in 2017.”

Melker Schörling has for decades built up a strong position in the Swedish business, with sole ownership of several major listed companies such as Securitas, Assa Abloy, Hexagon and Loomis. To the Di says he was, he also leaves the board of directors of H&M – after 19 years.

When he was at 69 years of age now announces that he is leaving their assignments for health reasons, he has a plan for how family companies are to be managed in the future and Ericsson’s ex-ceo will play a key role.

” I’m happy to already now be able to inform you that we propose to welcome back Carl-Henric Svanberg as a board member of MSAB at the spring general meeting. With his broad industrial experience and extensive economic involvement in our group, he will be a great asset in the work of the board, ” says Melker Schörling in the press release.

” I will, of course, continue as a support and advisor to our business leaders and boards continue.

Even his daughter Sofia Schörling Högberg, 38, will take a step forward in the family’s investment company MSAB in a role as vice chairman of the board.

“As if I stop playing football”
