U.S. stocks rose slightly on Tuesday, including following the announcement that the u.s. trade deficit with the world shrank to approximately 390 billion in december, a slightly larger decrease than expected.
Energiaktierna belonged to the losers since the price of oil continued down. Oljejättarna Exxon and Chevron fell 0.7% and 1.4%.
the American brand, General Motors reported a significantly vinstfall for the fourth quarter, pressured by, among other things, to currency effects. The shares fell 4.7 per cent.
the Dow Jones industrial index rose 0.2 per cent as well as Nasdaq’s kompositindex. The S&P 500 rose a marginal 0.02 per cent.
