The Russian import ban against a range of food from the EU has a very small effect on Swedish exports of agricultural and food products, according to the Agriculture Department.
Swedish exports to Russia of the goods covered by the suspension of trade is relatively small. But in the longer term it may lead to lower prices for farmers and food companies in Sweden are countries that can no longer sell certain products in Russia, rather than sell them in the EU.
