Stockholm Stock Exchange turned down – Smålandsposten

Stockholm Stock Exchange went down on Wednesday after the rise in the beginning of the week.



When closed Wednesday’s trading had OMXS index declined by 0.2 percent to 443.9.

After a tentative development during morning trade Stockholm Stock Exchange took a step down after lunch.

Ica Group, which in the morning carrying a hefty profit lift, rose 2.5 percent. Profit rose in the second quarter, from just under half a billion before tax last year to nearly 1.2 billion this year. The main reason is that it has sold its holding in the retail chain Kjell & amp; Company. But sales also rose, by almost five percent.

Clothing company Björn Borg reported falling profits and CEO experiencing “tough market conditions”. The share price fell by 2.8 per cent. ABB, which sells business ABB Full Service to private equity firm Nordic Capital, backed by a marginal 0.1 per cent.

Among heavyweights fell Ericsson, which featured an Australian orders, by 0.5 percent. Finnish rival Nokia climbed 4.4 percent.

Even on the major exchanges in Europe, it was down. FTSE index fell 0.4 percent, Frankfurt’s DAX index fell 0.2 per cent and the Paris CAC Exchange Index dropped 0.3 percent.
