Statistics from the Greek finance ministry show that gross domestic product fell by 0.2 per cent compared with the same period last year. Analysts had generally expected a decline of 0.4 percent, according to the Reuters poll.
Greece and its international lenders expect the country’s economy on an annual basis will grow by 0.6 percent, helped by investment, exports and Tourism.
