A woman was seriously injured after being hit in the head in Alingsås on Friday evening. A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
The incident occurred shortly after eight o’clock on Friday evening in central Alingsås. A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
– They knew each other, but it is unclear what their kind of relationship. The man should have beaten her severely in the head. The woman managed to escape and raise the alarm, says Sofie Odner, inner officers at police in Alingsås to GT.
