With less than a month to go until the election is party election posters going up in the capital. But it waited nightly battle of the poster space between the youth seems to be absent – for security reasons.

Whoever wins the “plate” wins the election, said Hanna Jokio, chairman of the Social Democratic Youth League (SSU) in Stockholm , face today. There is a tradition of competing for the square. The last few times we have won both the square and the elections, said Jessica Rosencrantz, MUF’s district.

But the fierce brawl on poster space at the Sergel’s Square in Stockholm now appears to be compromised. For security reasons, the Social Democrats and the Moderates’ youth got to agree in advance on each respective party’s election posters should be put up.

The atmosphere was a little too aggressive here today, so we chose to make up for the sites, says Jokio to TT tonight.

According to her, the SSU guarded places then at 18 last night, so it’s not without a sense of anticlimax as the union now says that there looks to be some very tough fight at midnight, when the official start of the election posters all starts in Stockholm.

It’s clear that it feels a little bitter. But at the same time the members’ safety first. If there are security reasons why we must agree that we need to do it. But it is clear that it feels a little boring.

The decision to peacefully share the sites themselves were partly prompted by the stewards, said representatives of the SSU and MUF. But it is also about highlighting the Sweden Democrats’ youth who are also in place, says Sofia Fölster grassland managers for MUF.

We were worried that other youth, as the Sweden Democrats, would begin to take places. So we made a mutual agreement to tackle racism – as we both are very strongly opposed.

According to Sofia Fölster goes settlement with SSU based on alternating with four posters each, full circle Sergel Square.
