– properties have for years been owned by an estate. It feels like a good idea to find a more long term solution. We are looking for a real estate company that is good at managing properties and continue to make tenants happy, says Erik Åfors, spokesperson for Hugo Åberg Property.
The properties have their origin in the builder Hugo Åberg’s work in the 30s.
When he died in 1969 drove his daughter Ulla Åberg on the business until his death in 2011. Since then, the estate has stood for operation of the properties on Almgården, Ribersborgsområdet and the Crown Prince.
The sale affects 2,000 apartments and 100 commercial tenants. The company currently has 50 employees.
– The assessed value is about 1.86 billion and market value can be assessed at around 2.5 billion. Then you get to see what a buyer is willing to pay that at all stores, said Erik Åfors.
Hugo Åberg property management wrote in a press release that the tenants will not be affected during the process.
