(SIX) The number of unemployed in Sweden increased by 977 persons to 206,168 persons during the week 32 A comparison with corresponding week a year ago, the number of unemployed decreased by 198,910 persons (-19,115 last week), according to a update from the Employment Service. Job seekers in activity support programs amounted to 160,221 people, which was 6 more than a week earlier. Compared with a years ago, the number has decreased by 12,740 people (-12,281 last week). The number of people who found work during the week amounted to 8458; compared with 6,849 during the week before. The number of people registered as job seekers were 7844, compared with 6663 weeks before. 12,342 new vacancies were reported, compared with 9,922 the week before.
