Karl Hedin has lost the forest for 300 million – Expressen

Much of Karl Hedin forest disappeared in the fire’s flames.

6000 acres with a value of SEK 300 million has been lost.

Karl Hedin is large forest owner who lost millions of dollars on fire.

He owns land between Lake Snyten, Ängelsberg, Virsbo and Hasteback. Along Lake Snytens south beach, which is one of the areas hardest hit by the fire, he owns 90 percent of all forests.

Total Karl Hedin owns 30,000 hectares of forest in Bergslagen. He estimates that about 6,000 acres of which have been lost in the fire.

It amounts to a value of between 200-300 million.
