Several people – including four children – are injured after a car had “gashäng” in the center of Kramfors.

The car skidded and hit a teenage boy.

Four people have been taken to hospital after the accident.

Several people – police say four and rescue six – will be damaged after a car has run on several people in the center of Kramfors. According to SOS Alarm, four of the injured persons to be children. Some of them will have more serious injuries.

– It was evening cruising in Kramfors with old American cars and the gas pedal is hung on one of the cars. The driver has tried to fend off and turned onto a side street but skidded and hit a younger guy, says Peter Norell, incident commander at emergency services High Coast Ådalen.



Five people were in the car

After the car drove on teenage boy got the car skid and ran into some sort of fence. At least one of the occupants fell out while driving, according to Peter Norell.

The boy who was hit, according to rescue the most seriously injured, but all six taken to hospital are said to have been conscious after the accident .

According to the police, however, only four people taken to hospital.

– There is a man born in 1962 with arm and hip injuries and three children with other injuries, says Krister East the police in Västernorrland.

The driver escaped without injury

The driver of the accident the car seems to be the one who has performed the best, according to crystals East.

– He is not damaged as far as we know, he says.

The police have launched a preliminary investigation of reckless driving and the car has been seized for forensic examination.

Many in the crowd gathered at the scene of the accident.

– It was chaotic initially. Police arrived and cordoned off so it became a bit easier for us, says Peter Norell.

The injured have been taken to hospital in Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik and Sundsvall.
