Enterprise and Mikael Damberg (S) called on Saturday up the former Deputy Prime Minister and Centre Party leader. He says he thanked her for her good work and emphasized that it is not about lack of skills.
– However, we have principled beliefs about Maud Olofsson, after she had been Minister for Enterprise, chose not to come to Committee on the Constitution and participate in sorting out Nuon scandal, says Damberg and believes that there arose a confidence.
– Nuon was also on a very large and important state-owned company, and when we believe that no one really has the confidence required to represent LKAB in this role.
Olofsson, who leaves after the Annual General Meeting in April, will miss the mission she has held since 2012, but think it is nice to have received an explanation.
– the important information I got from Mikael Damberg is they have no objection to the work I’ve done, she said.
TT: Were you worried about it?
– No, not really but I wanted after all to have it confirmed by the responsible Minister. It is important to be evaluated on the basis of the work and not on anything else, she says.
