The new company is based in Waltham, near Boston in the United States. About 95 scientists today are placed there will be affected by the decision. Some of them will get jobs in the new company or in other parts of Astra Zeneca. The company is investing $ 40 million in the new company.
The changes will not affect the employees in Sweden, according to AstraZeneca.
