SAS cabin crew strike again – Västerbotten Courier

At least 60 flights have been canceled by the airline SAS on Saturday after a Danish cabin crew have resumed a strike. SAS states that 30 departures from Copenhagen has been set, while Copenhagen Airport says that even 30 arrivals have been set.

About 75 employees among the SAS cabin crew did not come to work on Saturday, according to Danish TV2. The cabin crew should hold a union meeting that deals with the decision that 147 of the employees will be transferred to the subsidiary Cimber.

Paragraph The strike began on Friday, and SAS has responded by turning off 20 employees, according to TV2.

– This is a work stoppage contrary to our agreements, and then the employees must appear, says SAS Press Manager Trine Kromann-Mikkelsen.

– It is of course totally unacceptable for our customers, so we regret this again, says press officer.
