Norwegian pilots go on strike on Saturday.
The negotiations between the Norwegian pilot union and airline Norwegian has been slow and now alerts of pilot strike on 28 February.
The strike applies to all Norwegian’s 700 Norwegian, Danish and Swedish pilots, said Halvor Vatnar, union chairman of the Norwegian pilot association.
Norwegian went with a loss last year of 1.6 billion NOK. As part of the savings the company wants to change pilots conditions.
Swedish pilot slot supports their Norwegian colleagues and portend a sympathy strike. Members who work at the Norwegian levied on strike March 4 if no solution is reached before then.
