Operating profit for the fourth quarter fell to 1.8 billion Danish kroner, down from 2.3 billion in the same quarter a year earlier.
Analysts had on average expected an operating profit 1.9 billion.
Carlsberg anticipates earnings in 2015 will grow organically by between 5 and 9 percent.
Carlsberg also proposes a dividend to shareholders on 9 DKK per share, which was slightly more than expected.
