It’s easy to get lazy with their passwords. Ask US President Barack Obama, who has revealed some of its earlier: “password” and “123457″.
– Though I’ve changed them, he said, according to US media at a meeting on cybersecurity at Stanford University last Friday.
He pleads for business help in strengthening the electronic security, online in general and with regard to payments in particular.
In conjunction with the meeting it was announced that Apple’s hot-awaited payment Apple Pay now approved by the White House. It means for example that federal employees in the United States should be able to use Apple pay in the service.
The security of electronic payments in stores in the US is largely lousy compared to the rest of the world. Often it is enough to pull a credit card with a magnetic strip, codes or chips are not needed.
