Details: Maud Olofsson kicked out of LKAB's board – Aftonbladet

The government kicks Olofsson from LKAB’s board of directors, reveals SvD Business.

The reason: She deemed to have exhausted his confidence after refusing to come to KU.

For some years now sits Olofsson (C) of the Board of the State mining giant. Now she therefore go, say sources for SvD Business.

The reason must be that the former Deputy Prime Minister deemed to have exhausted his confidence after refusing to let himself be examined by KU.

Olofsson received last year harsh criticism for refusing to appear before the Constitutional Committee’s examination of the criticized Nuon affair.

Turned down the letter

“I would like to thank you for the invitation to the hearing of KU because of Vattenfall kqp of Nuon 2009. As this was going on for about five years ago, it feels it is difficult for me to come to KU and answer all questions, so many years later. Much has happened since then and I have not been inside the details of the case in a long time so I would have a hard time answering such questions. It would have been a different matter if the examination was shortly after my departure. I also know that departments have responded in writing to your questions and I have nothing more to add, “wrote Olofsson, including in the letter to KU where she declined to review.

Olofsson has additional directorships, but it is currently unclear if she is forced away also from them.
