Proventus bought the loss-making Brio 2004 with the plan the company’s business. But the purchase coincided with the market changed and the children began to play more with computers and other electronic gadgets instead of traditional toys. At the same time moved the toy industry, almost all production to China and other Asian countries which pushed prices 30-40 percent.
