The euro dived in the initial trade in Asia after the announcement that the Left SYRIZA skrällt in Greece, around 0.8 percent compared with the listing in the US on Friday night, according to Reuters.

Not since September 2003, the European currency is valued so low relative to the dollar. Trade stood at 1: 1098 US dollars per euro, after SYRIZA won his convincing victory.

Even prices on the Tokyo Stock Exchange turned down when trading began. Leading the Nikkei 225 index fell by over 1 percent.
