A test of producing gas is now planned in an area southwest of Mora seat. Exploration Company Igrene has recently drilled several holes and found out what it describes as “relatively large amounts” of gas.
The experts also found that there probably is an ongoing gradual replenishment of gas in the area.
The total area it is about can be as large as 100 square kilometers, the company said in a press release.
Worked with finding gas production has been going long throughout the so-called Siljansringen.
