The question is whether Martin-Löf can remain "- Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Shareholders’ Association president Carl Rosen notes factually that he had never experienced anything similar in terms of revelations about hunting and jetresor within SCA.

– People are so upset. Employees and shareholders belong to us as never before. It is all about top executives have allowed themselves things that would never be allowed further down in the organization, says Carl Rosén.

He believes that Sverker Martin-Löf and a number of other top managers have acted as if the SCA would be a fief. The Directors have found it difficult to distinguish between their own and the shareholders wallet.

– to then hire his own son as a financial advisor in a billion business is extremely inappropriate. It is obvious that confidence Sverker Martin-Löf is damaged after that, and after this whole mess. The question is whether he can remain. The question must be asked, says Carl Rosén.

He says that organization took up the deal with Laakirchen from 2013 already for a couple of weeks ago. Shareholders’ Association then sent a letter to SCA’s Board calling for an extended review of all new information, including just the shop where the Austrian businessman bought back Laakirchen from SCA.

– Even then, it felt like it was position to raise a warning flag. But we had no idea it SvD Business now reveals that the family members were hired as advisors. SCA responded curtly and sour to our letter, says Carl Rosén.

He stresses that SCA’s problem is its top managers. In addition, SCA is an excellently managed company with a proud employees.

It is not only Shareholders’ Association will require an extended review by the new data. Even the large minority owners seem to go on that line, even if the comments are cautious.

– I do not exclude that the new independent audit, a somewhat broader mandate than just business aviation, says Ossian Ekdahl, shareholder representative at the First AP the Fund.

The Fund is currently discussing, along with other institutions, with SCA’s Board of Directors. It’s about who should conduct the audit and how the task should be formulated. Decisions taken shortly.
