– As we conclude 2014, we see that the villas and condominiums overall have risen as much, with 9 percent. There is a big difference with the development in 2012 and 2013, when housing allowances increased more than twice as much as the villas have seen the national level, comment Mäklarstatistiks Analysis Manager Per-Arne Sandgren.

The average price of a detached house in Sweden was in December to 2.333 million kronor but there is obviously a big difference in price in the kingdom. In Stockholm costs means the villa approximately 4.4 million and in Gothenburg more than 3.7 million.

Even Malmö is above the national rate, and reports an average house price of just over three million. In the twelve-month basis sticks capital of the villa out with a rise of 12 percent.

A trend which consists is that the price trend is stronger in Stockholm and Gothenburg compared to Malmö. Villas in Stockholm increased by 12 percent over the past year and in Gothenburg house price rose by 8 percent.

– This is while Stormalmös villas lands of plus 2 percent. The differences are also available on the condominium market but is less, says Per-Arne Sandgren.
