SKF is laying off 200 employees in Sweden are of dismissal. Most of them are located in Gothenburg.
In early December was informed staff that two business areas, oriented to the industrial market, would be merged into one .
That’s Strategic Industries (SI) and Regional Sales and Service (RSS) pooled and then it will be double staffing in terms of some internal support functions.
The clock 13 today got the staff to know to 200 announced layoffs – there are primarily administrative services such as personnel, finance and marketing but it can not be ruled out that research and development is concerned, says the press officer for the SKF Group Theo Kjellberg to P4 Gothenburg.
Now commence negotiations and in late February is expected to reply on how many and which ones to leave SKF.
