Milk money is on its way to the farmers – Västerbotten Courier

Now approaching payout of 68 million in support to more than 3800 Swedish milk producers. On Friday, should be credited to the account of dairy farmers.

They are a part of the support that the EU Commission introduced the hard-pressed industry in September last year. In total there are about 154 million for the Swedish part, and the EU and Sweden account for half each. The first tranche was paid in December.

Now the peasants 2.5 cents per kg of milk produced, which according to the Swedish Board of Agriculture represents about 214 per cow.

The money comes automatically without application and go to the farmers continued to produce during the month of May this year.
