Stavanger hotel no longer hot – Västerbotten Courier

The hotels in Stavanger has gone from being Norway’s most profitable to halve revenue in just over a year.

– Nobody makes money there now, says Nordic Choice chain’s CEO Torgeir Silseth to Dagens Næringsliv.

He added that the worst period is probably over.

– I do not think we get any new boom, and get back the good old days in the next 12 to 24 months, but we believe that the bottom has been reached.

new figures from the Benchmarking Alliance shows that all cities in the so-called oil spill has had a negative development in the past year. Oslo, Bodø and Lillehammer other hand, has gone better this year than last year.
