Worried Asian exchanges – Västerbotten Courier

The Tokyo Stock Exchange appears and it is generally down on the leading Asian stock markets. A stronger yen weighing on Tokyo, and a general concern for the British vote for EU membership, investors flee risk.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Nikkei 225 index closed 3.5 percent lower. A stronger yen hitting export companies.

The stock markets in South Korea and Taiwan decreased both by about two percent. In Hong Kong situated Hang Seng Index at minus 2.7 percent at 8 o’clock Swedish time. Shanghai Stock Exchange has also fallen by 1.5 percent.
