Two new proposed LO leadership – Västerbotten Courier

Half of LO’s top management is replaced. That the nomination committee’s proposal before Congress that begins on Friday.

As the first vice-president suggested Therese Guovelin, today president of the Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ Union (HRF). As second vice chairman nomination committee proposes Berit Müller Power, who recently lost Chair battle to the union’s highest post.

“The proposal that I can be LO’s first vice-president is an honor,” she writes in a press release from the HRF.

These two would then replace previous outgoing Tobias Baudin and Ingela Edlund.

Karl-Petter Thorwaldsson proposed for re-election as chairman, and Torbjörn Johansson agreements secretary.
