Norwegian pilots negotiating on overtime – Västerbotten Courier

The deadline has passed, but the fact that SAS agreed with the Norwegian Cockpit Association and SAS Norge Pilot (SNF). The negotiations are now continuing on overtime. If they can not reach an agreement, taken 430 SAS pilots on strike this morning, something that will affect large parts of the Norwegian air traffic.

Before the deadline, said Knut Morten Johansen, Communications SAS, the parties were determined to reach a solution, and he asked travelers to have a cool head.

– Wait mode, he advised those with tickets that were troubled.

Shortly after midnight Johansen confirmed that negotiations continue since the deadline now expired. The Company will publish current information on the web.

In Sweden, similar negotiations. Approximately 300-350 SAS pilots are on strike on Friday if the Swedish Pilots’ Association and the employer agree on job security and wages.
