Nordea and Ericsson in the meeting on Friday.
Ericsson’s major owners Nordea, which has shares worth a total of about one billion, is Friday morning in a meeting with Ericsson. The bank looks “extremely serious” on Svd Enterprise reports that the company is being investigated for corruption in China, the report SVD Enterprise.
Sasha Beslik, head of responsible investment at Nordea, said the newspaper that the bank raised the question several markets which Ericsson operates on, as Uzbekistan Kazakhstan and China.
“We have already received indications of things that were not completely OK,” he told the newspaper.
Furthermore, he states that Nordea as the owner had not been informed about the investigation.
