Swedish pilots on strike

Since yesterday evening also participate Swedish Pilots in the strike to show their support to the Norwegian Pilot Union and paired struggle, by taking out those members who are employees of the Norwegian in sympathy action.

– It is an extremely important conflict that involves pilots the opportunity to have a continued employment during reasonable terms, says Martin Lindgren, Swedish Pilot Association president, and continues:

He is critical of the Norwegian hired other airlines and to fly passengers.

– We are disappointed that Norwegian use of strike-breaking airlines and strike-breaking pilots flown home to Scandinavia to work in conflicts, says Martin Lindgren.

More chooses SAS

Henry Edstrom, press officer at SAS, says that in recent days have noticed that more people choose to fly with SAS.

– We have noticed an increase in demand in recent days, which is a natural effect of the many flights that can not. So we’ve got more bookings and some departures starting to get crowded.

Are you going to put extra flights?

– No, we do not. We have the capacity we have. We try to take care of the passengers who contact us and get them there should be.
