The cost for help with troublesome broadband, computers and IT skills should be deductible. The idea is to help older people to manage IT challenges facing society.

The proposal is part of the report Digitization Commission presents today, Thursday, to IT minister Mehmet Kaplan.

“There is very much a frustration among people. One must not broadband to act or fail to connect the TV to the internet properly. There are numerous technical problems that I think everyone recognizes,” says Digitization Commission President , Jan Gulliksen, DN.

The idea is to embed it services in the deduction for household services as root and RUT deduction. The interest in this type of services is also expected to be higher among women.
One underlying reason for the proposal is that the market has not been prepared to such services because the margin was too low.

The government has also announced that the root deduction will be reduced from 50 to 30 percent, which means that the proposal could cost 78 million dollars per year about 635,500 people utilize the deduction.
