A palace coup by Pär Boman “- Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

It is without doubt historical events that we now witness. One of Sweden’s heaviest spheres of power is in flux and confidence in Handelsbanken sphere is torn. But until now, criticism, after all, come from outside.

Now comes the sudden within. The intensity of the row in the bank we can only imagine.

Handelsbanken’s next chairman Pär Boman obviously a different view of one million sets to the top directors than Anders Nyrén and he does not hesitate to communicate the public, even if it means that Anders Nyren be mocked. He has just a few weeks ago angrily defended the generous agreement with Pär Boman as an absolute necessity to get “one of Europe’s foremost bankers” as Chairman.

Now it turns out that the banker Pär Boman is a different opinion. He does not want the money. It is – to put it mildly – embarrassing. The same applies to pension giant Alecta and their remarkable defense of the Bomans jättelön.

The message from Handelsbanken reinforces the picture of Anders Nyrén as greedy when it comes to their own compensation and unnecessarily wasteful in respect of other directors’ pay packets. The latter is an additional serious sin of Handelsbanken, which has cost as almost a religion in the corporate culture.

It is tempting to describe it as some sort of palace coup by Pär Boman’s side. He challenges Anders Nyrén and it is easy to guess who will emerge victorious from the battle.

Jan Almgren.

“Musical Chairs Industrivärden”

In the wake of SCA Hank has a heavy shadow has fallen over Anders Nyrén. For the past ten years he has formed working very closely with Industry’s outgoing chairman, Sverker Martin-Löf. It is Nyrén and Martin-Löf, which to a large Some behind the corporate culture that has been revealed in the SCA harness with private jets, exclusive hunting facilities and family members freeloading at company expense. It is also nyrén written on Martin-Löf’s disputed invoices.

Sverker Martin-Löf have been forced from all their assignments, but Anders Nyren remain. On May 6, it is thought that he will be elected the new Chairman of Industrivärden at the Annual Meeting. A great day for Anders Nyren.

The question is whether it will happen?

Even before Pär Boman gambit was Anders Nyren questioned by minority shareholders. After this, there is reason to believe that the criticism will grow to storm strength. In addition, risk recruitment of a new CEO to Industrivärden sluggishly as long as Anders Nyren will remain with the company as chairman.

musical chairs for Industrivärden. Maybe it leads to the conclusion that the major shareholder, Fredrik Lundberg eventually named chairman of the venerable investment company May 6 instead of Anders Nyrén.

In late January, when it became clear that Sverker Martin-Löf was gone out of the running moved Fredrik Lundberg its positions in a first step. He then announced that he will be the new Vice Chairman of Industrivärden.

But whether Fredrik Lundberg grip the club in the spring it is clear that it is he and Per Boman, who now controls the Handelsbanken sphere after Anders Nyrén and Sverker Martin-Löf.
