Seven-year-youngest pension saver – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

“The surprise is usually great with the persons who receive their first orange envelopes. Many are not aware that they can earn for their retirement when you have children, studying or if you are unemployed and have unemployment insurance, “writes Monica Petersson on Pensions Agency in a statement.

There tend to be some children among first-time savers. Pension Authority never know exactly how they earned their money, but they have taken part in advertising is a guess. For older people this could mean that they have come to Sweden late in life.

The average age of the Prime beneficiaries of the envelope is 26 and on average they earned in 12,125 crowns to the state pension, compared with 46,240 crowns for the average saver.
