Finance Magdalena Andersson (S) appreciates the support of an investigation but sees no need for a parliamentary committee. She is supported by the Prime Minister.

There have been reviewed previously and we take this further, says Löfven to TT during a visit to his Polish colleague in Warsaw and dismisses the claim from Alliance parties’ economic policy spokespersons of a broad investigation with representatives from all parties in parliament.

He would not say whether the government is already in the autumn budget intends to propose that the surplus target will be abolished.

– We have a thing no other view than that the surplus target is important and it should be maintained.
